Visiting one of the most popular tourism destinations in Africa located in the rich open grasslands of the Great Rift Valley. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas as you are guaranteed to enjoy game any time of the year. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.
There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino) regardless the time of your visit.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Jambo! This morning you will be met by Classic Journeys Africa Customer Care Representative at Hotel/airport who will brief you on your program ahead and introduce the Driver Guide who will be with you throughout the safari.
Depart for the Masai Mara National Game Reserve, stopping briefly at the Great Rift Valley View Point for some photos then proceed with the drive to arrive in time for check in and lunch at the Loyk Mara Camp .You will then spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive till dusk when you return to your camp.

Your accommodation Loyk Mara Camp has a lot of different facilities to satisfy the demand of guests who value the sense of privacy and peace to make them fill comfortable in the heart of the wild nature. Beside the standard services and facilities such like full board accommodation and game drives in Masai Mara National Reserve the camp offers a large variety of activities for those who wish to learn more about themselves, test their strength, express themselves, get new Impressions and impress their friends.

DAY 2 : MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After your breakfast, you will depart for the whole day game drive in the vast Masai Mara National Game Reserve with picnic lunch being served in the wild. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.
You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.
Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

DAY 3 : MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Spend yet another full day enjoying the great Masai Mara National Reserve. Some of the exciting activities at the camp that you can engage in today, include archery, billiards, bonfire, table games, swimming pool, nature walk, sunrise & sun-downer, game watching at Eagle Nest View Point, bird watching, balloon safari.
Take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon at an extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience.

DAY 4 : DEPARTURE

After breakfast bid farewell to the Masai Mara as you set on your journey back to Nairobi. Drive back down the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi, passing the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot, and lakes Elementaita and Naivasha on the way. Keep an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle and head up the escarpment. You will arrive in Kenya’s bustling capital city Nairobi in the late afternoon.
Lunch is your own arrangements and spend time doing last minute shopping or city excursions at an extra cost.
